MyLeanBody Boot Camp started in February of 2010 in Bloomington. It has turned into much more than just getting women a great workout and teaching them about eating healthy and living a healthy lifestyle. We are a community of strong women working each day to get healthier and feel better. I love it. I love how supportive and encouraging this group is. You will not believe it until you experience it for yourself.

Meet Our Team:

Emily Reynolds *

Hi I’m Emily.  I began training with my husband as soon as we started dating in 2008.  Training both myself and other women quickly became my life’s work! I love it, and I cannot imagine doing anything else.  I love showing other women how fit, strong, positive, and incredible they can become.    

I believe that if we spend time taking care of ourselves, we will have more energy to give to the other responsibilities in our lives.  My goal is that the time you invest with me and my staff is the best part of your day.  You will have more energy and focus for everything else!

I want you to succeed in reaching your goals.  Health and fitness are springboards to making changes in all aspect of your life.  You will gain the confidence to do anything and everything that you aspire to achieve.  You will have my support and guidance whenever you need it along the way.  It will probably not be the easiest journey you have ever been on, but it is worth all of the hard work and effort that you put into it. 

I cannot wait to meet you and to get you started in class!  You will be so happy that you joined MyLeanBody Boot Camp!  Get ready to be even more amazing!

Hi I’m Kim!

KimI found MyLeanBody Boot Camp in 2014 when I was hired as the front desk receptionist.  Almost immediately it became much more than a job as I quickly fell in love with the positive boot camp atmosphere and the ladies I interacted with every day.  What I really did not expect was how incredible the work outs would be.  As a professional dancer, including dancing on the 66th Annual Tony Awards and for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for 14 years, I thought I was in good shape, but MLBBC took my dance strength to a whole new level.  Working at MLBBC and working out here as well was a win-win for me.

I had an opportunity to dance for the Chicago Bulls basketball team took me to Chicago.   After living there for a year, I moved back to Bloomington Normal to teach dance – something I had always wanted to do.  When an MLBBC instructor position became available, I jumped at the chance!  I have always loved working out at MLBBC and now I am able to help women get stronger and become the very best version of themselves…something I love to do with my dance students as well.  With over 30 years of dance experience, believe me when I say, MyLeanBody Boot Camp is the absolute best way to get strong, lean dancer’s legs.  Join me today in class today!

Hi I’m Ashley!

Ashley DavisMy husband and I decided to change our lives when we started working out together in 2015.  We had two small children and we knew that we wanted to be healthy, strong role models for them.  We also changed our diets – started eating better and including more whole unprocessed foods.  After a few month, I felt stronger and had so much more energy.  I loved these new feelings and was determined to do whatever it took to keep feeling that way.  Exercise, being strong and pushing myself has changed my life for the better and I want to help other women realize how great they can feel too!

On October 31, 2016 I walked into MyLeanBody Boot Camp for the first time and I was hooked.  I started coming to the gym at least three days a week from then on.  Now my day is not complete without a workout.  I have loved the wonderful, positive and encouraging atmosphere from the beginning and am now thrilled to be a part of the MLBBC instructor team.  Let me help you reach your potential getting stronger and feeling better every day!


 Hi, I’m Becky!

BeckyEmily invited me to try MLBBC in 2017, and I am sure glad I did! In that very first class, I could feel the positive energy and dedication that the ladies at MLBBC brought to the room. I feel so lucky to be a part of a team that is dedicated to helping women change their lives through fitness and wellness! As a certified personal trainer (2010) and group fitness instructor (2011), I have worked with many different groups and taught a variety of fitness classes. I love the boot camp class style and the way I feel after a workout at MLBBC!

I am an assistant professor at Illinois State University and I teach in sport management. I live in Bloomington and spend my free time hiking, cycling, running, and relaxing with my boyfriend and friends.

Kim CertaI love this place! I fell in love with MLBB after my very first class! The class was intense and challenging, but I had so much fun!  There issomething really awesome about a class full of women pushing themselves as hard as they can! I feel blessed to have the opportunity to instruct here now too. I love helping people reach their goals and knowing I played a role in that.

Beginning with collegiate basketball, fitness has been a big part of my life! In college, I fell in love with strength training and have carried that passion with me into my adult life. My husband and I have 4 children, so staying fit and eating healthy is really important to me now! MLBBC workouts give me the strength, energy and stress relief I need to keep up with my little munchkins!
