I started working with Chris for my first physique show in July. I had recently lost a lot of weight and Emily and Chris encouraged me to do a show. I am so glad I did, after 4 months of working out and dieting I have never felt better or looked better. I am in the best shape of my life! It was the first time in my life that I could see my six pack! I am looking forward to competing in another physique show this year. As an IronMan triathlete, I focused solely on swimming, biking and running until I met personal trainers Chris and Emily Reynolds who introduced me to Russian kettlebells in January, 2012. In a matter of a few short months, they’ve taken my performance to a new level.
Unlike weight machines, kettlebells are the most dynamic strength exercise imaginable. They work the arms, the shoulders, the chest, the back, the core and the legs and rocket my heart rate to new extremes. And, they are so much fun I look forward to workouts. I’m stronger, fitter and faster in all three triathlon disciplines as a result. Kettlebells will always be a part of my training plan.
