When I first came to boot camp it was more about working out harder. That was my mindset! I didn’t think I needed to keep track of what I was eating since I was already making healthy food choices.

At the beginning of the year I decided I needed to try something different.  I started to track my food and changing when and what I ate. Working til 10pm some nights I didn’t eat until I got home which was usually after 11pm. Bad idea!  And during my break at work I usually ate prepackaged food snacks. Another bad idea!

I’m looking at things so differently now and making changes to when and what I eat. I have lost almost 20 lbs in 3 months, and I am doing 5k’s and running which I didn’t think I ever do!

I’m the Grandma who goes down the slide with my granddaughter, Harper. I did something to change and now I am seeing results!  My family is my inspiration to be true to myself.  I want to be healthy, strong and amazing for me and for them!
