I began MyLeanBody Boot Camp in early 2013. I loved the classes, my fellow ladies, and how strong I became. Even though I was working out harder than I ever had before and was stronger than I’d ever been, my weight loss wasn’t moving the direction I wanted it to. I knew I could be making better food choices and being more honest with my tracking, but for a number of reasons I wasn’t ready to really take the plunge. I was scared of being miserable, missing foods I “loved”, and scared to try and fail.
I finally decided I’d had enough and wanted to make a real change in my health and appearance, so I took the plunge and purchased the Diet Doc program and Emily’s counseling and guidance in June 2014. I absolutely loved that I didn’t just get a meal plan, but Emily taught me how my body processes food and helped me understand what, when, and how much to eat. It gave me the tools I needed to eat real food, and plenty of it, and still lose weight. With my personal Diet Doc plan, I’ve survived weddings, birthday parties, cookouts, and date nights without stalling or damaging my progress.
My weight loss results were immediate, and my energy levels were suddenly higher and stayed stable throughout the day. Turning down those foods I thought I’d die without became so easy, knowing how incredibly effective my Diet Doc plan was and how awesome I felt stepping on the scale each day and watching the number go down.
During the first two weeks, I lost nearly 8 pounds and continued to lose consistently every week thereafter. As I near the end of my initial 8 weeks of Diet Doc, I have lost 20 POUNDS! I’m still getting used to the awesome feeling of fitting into clothes I’ve had put away for years, and I’m not done yet! There was a time when I never thought I’d be able to do it, but now I know without a doubt that I will be successful and will be healthy and strong for the rest of my life! The empowerment and confidence I have gained is worth all the money in the world.
Thank you Emily, Kristie, Katie, and all of the MyLeanBody family for always believing I could, even when I didn’t believe it myself.
Love and hugs, Bevin
